Hey all. just found you through e46fanatics. Glad someone got this started. Im in Asheville NC (in the mountains). Love my ZHP, and work on it too much. Even the baby car seat looks good in it!
See ya around.

I cannot help with baby seat, cause most are pretty similar but I love my Sunshine car seat for the toddlers. It is low profile and has a steal frame. Plus it is narrow and not bulky like the others I have seen. I can't believe I am doing this on a car forum but here is a link.

My friends say that Britax is the way to go. We don't have kids, so I can't vouch.

Those Britax are so bulky, you need to get a Burb just to get 2 car seats in the back!! :)

Edit: or minivan. yikes

Good to know. I have two coupes and a Jeep. I'd like to drive the coupes with the baby.

Hi David-- Used to do a lot of motorcycle riding down your way-- back in the old school days when Asheville hosted the Honda Hoot. Beautiful area. Looking forward to getting my zhp on the Blue Ridge someday.

it will suck! lol.. i found some nice coupes in my search, but for the first year or so the whole seat needs to come in and out, bangs off of stuff, pita to get in and out, etc. hence the 4 drs. rugrats change everyhting, good and bad.

haha. sweet! my intro thread has turned into a baby seat/life with kids thread! lol. My how things change. For all you "about to be dads" the key is remembering when you have your kid with you, and when you dont. Try to keep it under 4k rpm and .6 g's when you have em with you!

Yeah I have extra doors on account of my kids. Luckily they are old enough not to need car seats anymore. My son still uses a booster but that's not bad. Weird thing is, even with the Sedan, getting him out was actually easier in my MkIV GTI coupe cause of the way the front seat went up into the dash.

I like your car and how it sits!! Beautiful!
