This is the cheapest I've been able to find this intake so far, it looks like it's on sale right now for 289.95 - not bad! As soon as the bank opens Monday I'm going to go deposit some cash and buy this.

Nice find. Any word on how long the sale lasts?

Not sure how long, I don't see any info about the sale really. I just went to the base site, put in my model and 'on sale' was one of the options towards the top. There's like 25 pages of stuff on sale, found this while browsing the list.

And what exactly is wrong with the stock intake?? :shifty:

I can definitely say that nothing was wrong with the stock intake. I just wanted the carbon fiber bling under my hood.

Nothing wrong with it, however, as the cliche goes, anything made can be made better...

Just ordered it, but it's on backorder "This product is currently on order with our supplier, an (ETA), estimated time of arrival is listed below." "On Order ETA Dec 22nd". It was $305.48 w/shipping UPS ground to Tampa. Merry Christmas to me, from me.

Ah, Bling factor.
The only bling going under my hood is a really good ONR detail of the engine bay! It could definitely use a good cleaning.

(And maybe a strut bar. :D)

Haha. I did the strut bar bling, too. Couldn't help it.

What I liked best about the ITG intake in my E36 M3 was the sound. Has anyone heard this intake in action? Since it's enclosed, I suspect it's quiet.

I'll be able to record it, but it's on backorder until the end of december. I'll be lucky to have it installed by new years. I think stock sounds pretty growly as it is, if that's a word.
