Still looking for a winter setup.

These are for sale locally owner says they are from 5 series E39 (16 inches).

For the life of me I can't find them at our usual spot (http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/)

Sorry for the trouble.

Just trying to find the offset.

Could be Style 32?

EDIT: No

They look like Alpina's.

I think Alpina's have a tighter spoke pattern.

I didn't find anything with "BMW 16 inch radial rims" on Google. I'd check them out, Oli. But the offset might be ET20...

Yep. Doesn't look like they are BMW wheels. I'll email the seller and try to find out.

If offset is out, no go for me right?

They come with winter tires too (Dunlop winter sport m3?).

I think BMW wheels have the ET stamped on the inside of the wheel. They don't look big enough for E39 duty. More like E36 or even E30? Or, maybe my frame of reference is off since mine's bigger. (There's a joke in there somewhere). :)

They look like old school turbines from a 5 series.

A used set was for sale at a local tire shop the last time I was getting tires put on..

Are they Style 4's?

Style 4 has too many spokes, Bill. The closest I've seen to the one in post one is style 32.

Good call Marcus. I saw that right after I posted. Still searching.

This is in German but the style number is somewhat understandable.

I think so. I have been searching and can't find any 18 spokes wheel made by BMW (at least at the German site 3ZHPguy is mentioning).

The Dunlop SP Winter M3 tires appear to be good.

I am not sure about offset and fitting my 325i. Emailed the guy... still waiting for his reply.

This is my winter setup. I purchased these from the Stealership when I bought my car and believe they were a Tirerack winter wheel & tire combo package. The only marking on them is "Sport Edition" on the center cap. Current rubber is Michelin Pilot M/S 205-50R 17. Setups like this are still available @ Tirerack.

As best I can determine (and Horny put the finger on it), these wheels are a no-go.

Offset is probably 20-26. We need closer to 40 on the e46s.

They'll probably touch the fenders.

You pros agree?

Couldn't find anything either on the wheels. Sorry Oli.
