he said the grill was a single 400lb block of aluminum that was CNC'd down to that shape, then all of the trim was nickel plated. The hubcaps are on a kind of floating bearing system like the ones on a Rolls so they always look like that no matter what speed he's going

Personally I'm a fan of the X5 much more, I'm indifferent on the look of the X6. I haven't actually been in his car yet so my mind is not yet made.

I've always wondered the same thing... Always seems pixelated as if you were zoomed in. Do you import your photos with some sort of program? Or save them out of some program that strips all the detail?

My parents had an Z3 M Roadster, it was called Pistachio Green. I seem to remember it had a lot more gold and metallic in it, but it also took on a lot of different colors when it was dirty and looked nearly the same. Maybe it's Pistachio green?

That's most definitely the case with nice E30s these days. I shot the following in 2004. Red 88 M6 belonged to my father. White 91 M3 is mine. The rest were owned by friends. Sadly, all but mine were sold long ago.

Photo shot in Dallas and except for the E46, the older M's all have a California connection. Both M3s came from there, the M5 and M6 were sold to new owners there.
