In need of some better shots of my Lucy with her newest set of wheels, I took her out and this is what I got.

Using my Nikon CoolPix P90, slightly edited w/ Photoshop.

Wow, very nice! We were close to your neck of the woods last month (Gatlinburg/GSMNP) and fell in love with the area. So much green! Your car looks terrific. I'm a fan of the red/black combo.

Looks great, Ryan. What are those tall green covered hill things in the back ground? It looks like a really big messed up sand dune.

Thanks guys. Which one do you think I should use for the "Car of the Month" poll?

Looks delicious!

Thanks again everyone. I think I'll go with the last picture as it does show most of the car.

And yes, 4 M3 fronts FTW! Can't wait to get the spacer for the front though. (I have them for the rear but they're not on.)

Looks great Ryan! Even moar delicious than before.

I haz some questions. How do you like the CSL front bumper?

Do you use the opening for air intake?

And last but not least... are you running without fogs? Or are they hiding?

I haz some questions. How do you like the CSL front bumper? I love it, fitment is great. And it completes the look of "the e46 4 door M3 concept" that I've tried to create.

Do you use the opening for air intake? Unfortunately the only use is whatever air that comes in the engine bay through the hole. I tried to pipe air from the hole to the front of my CIA, but it's too narrow in there to get a hose through.

And last but not least... are you running without fogs? Or are they hiding? No fogs. But since there were wires for fogs, I hooked up the Audi style led strips I installed and now can control them through my fog light button in the cabin.http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm142/aprilsmom04/Ryanscar1-1.jpg
They're controversial through the BMW community so I don't advertise much that I have them. But I like them, and that's all that matters to me.

Cool! I also like the CSL but had the same above questions on the functionality... thanks for taking the time out to fill me in!

PS - I like the LED strips. Bet they look really cool at night.

New wheels!!!??? I must have missed that. What did you get, they look great! I like the last pic, but any chance you could take it from the reverse, as it would highlight those killer stripes?

I've had the wheels on for over 6 months but never had a chance to get out and take some pictures. Also, I'm not exactly good at taking pictures and was hoping to get someone who is good out to take the pics of my car, but need arose before that happened. I picked up 4 M3 (style 67) fronts, 18'x8" et47. They don't sit as flush as I'd like and I've picked up a set of spacers for the rear(not on the car in pictures), but still need to get some from the fronts to complete the look that I want.

Once I get all the spacers on I'll get back out w/ the camera and get some more shots. I'll keep in mind your request. By reverse do you mean from the back or from the passenger front corner?

:) Looks really good Ryan. I'm pretty bad at taking pics myself...half the time I don't even remember to. You should get a night shot of your LED's. Is your roof half black?

Same shot but from the front passenger corner, so in that pic you'd actually have to turn the car around to take the same pic, but you'd have to go from a different angle to get the same background. Not that I'm an expert, but I just think it would be great to highlight the stripes, so have them in the foreground.

^^^Ok, I gotcha.

The roof is all black and the stripes go from black on the hood to red on the roof.
This is the best shot I've got of it.

This is THE pic. Resubmit this for your entry in the pic of the month. David told me about the stripes and the roof at the meet, genius.

Thanks guys. I'll see what I can do about my entry but the competition's stiff, I don't think this is my month. :) I haven't even voted yet and I'm not even sure I'll vote for myself!
