Thanks to working with Seth, Jerry, and a couple others from eurocharged, I finally got the car tuned yesterday. We were suppose to do dyno runs, but because of the long day the dyno started acting very funny. So I won't have a baseline to go off of, but my car is stock performance wise except for the tune so a stock 330i baseline should be fine. I am going to get a dyno as soon as I get my summer wheels back on.

As far as the tune, honestly I didn't expect to notice much, but I did right away. The car pulls a lot faster and the throttle is more responsive. We raised the red line limiter, took away the speed limiter, and changed it for 93 octane as that's all we have around my house. I think my favorite is it pulls a lot better in 6th gear now on the high way. Before it was pretty weak. Jerry said to expect 22 to 24hp gain at the wheels. I'll post up the dyno as soon as I get it.

Other news, stopped at Sonic Tuning in Gaithersburg yesterday as well to discuss some website stuff with those guys. I will have the new V3 Mtech angel eyes by Tuesday, then doing the install on those.

From my understanding in talking with Seth and Jerry. They do the tuning for Active. Seth can probably touch on this better than me. I still need to send my follow up email to them.

So at about 10:30 tonight I got all motivated and decided I was going to install my new angel eye bulbs. I declared Katie captain of the couch and started my journey to the garage. Got everything ready and dug in.

OE Angel Eyes

http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l495/BimmerLoop/OEangeleyes.jpg

Driver Side MTEC/Passenger side OE

http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l495/BimmerLoop/MTECvsOE.jpg

Testing it out before I put everything back together...

http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l495/BimmerLoop/testAEs.jpg

And shes all wired up and installed back

http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l495/BimmerLoop/wired.jpg

Then I was getting ready to move everything over to the passenger side... I kept hearing somebody call my name though. Then on my journey to the other side of the garage I realized it was my good ole buddy Mr. Daniels... So I stopped and we chatted, Mr. Daniels talked me into doing the passenger side tomorrow, so here I am now hanging out with him and telling you guys my amazing Friday night adventure.

http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l495/BimmerLoop/IMG_1477.jpg

We are going to Maryland tomorrow to get Katies wedding bands and I need to go shopping before I go to Florida. Chances are I will not be motivated at all in the morning (thanks Mr. Daniels!!) So I will probably just drive around for the rest of the weekend with 2 different colored Angel Eyes :rofl

Got Dyno'd last Thursday...

Only mod performance wise is Tuned by Eurocharged!

http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l495/BimmerLoop/12tuned.png

Max of 3 Runs
220HP
195 TQ

NOTE: this was on a AWD Mustang dyno. People argue that Mustangs dyno low or that Dynojets dyno high... you be the judge.

As some of you know unfortunately we were not able to get a baseline on the day of the tune. So i went to the forums and did a search like crazy trying to find a base 330i dyno. I couldnt find a complete base tune, but guys running intake hitting around the 195 - 200 hp range.

The highest I could find was a AA tuned with intake and exhaust at 215hp...

So my findings are I am happy and Eurocharged delivers IMHO.

If I had to guess I made somewhere from 20 to 25 hp at the wheels.
