I did a full exterior detail of the Tahoe this weekend. Sonax wheel cleaner, Iron Cut, Chemical Guys Citrus Gloss wash, clay bar, Dodo Juice Lime Prime Pre-wax cleaner, Chemical Guys Black Light Sealant (one coat), and Dodo Juice Supernatural Wax (one coat). Put some 303 on the trim and used Stoner's on the glass.

I did a separate review (http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showthread.php?3773-Aquartz-Iron-Cut) on the Iron Cut because it makes claying build-up a lot easier. I used different amounts on the drivers side (less) and passenger side (more) and I could tell the difference when claying.

The Lime Prime cleaned up some light scratches, which was a pleasant surprise. One of the reasons I did not focus on before pics was I did not think it would do any correction, but it took out a few light scratches on the tailgate. The one thing about working with it is you do not want to let it sit too long. Immediately after it drys you need to buff it out. I tried to do too much at once and needed to use some optimum no-rinse mixed with water (my clay lube) to moisten it and wipe it off.

Applying sealant was a first for me. Half way through putting it on the Tahoe, my right arm started to cramp. I was able to tough it out and finish everything but the roof. Finished the roof in the morning. Then a coat of supernatural and finished up the trim and windows. Because of the doing it by hand, I was not doing two coats. And I am not doing it by hand again. A buffer will be the next mod.

Some pics I went and snapped in front of abandoned wells.

1999, 146.6K miles. Bought it in 2002 with 30K on it. I need to get the Dr. Colorchip for the gold two-tone. Noticed tons of chips behind the wheels.

The two doors are rare. Maybe that's why I want one so bad. Looking good, Horns.
