If you don't have the app, you should look into it. I just installed it on my iPad. Very nice. Easy to use. It was $2.99. Worth it.

Thanks, Kayger (Keith), for suggesting that we install it on the site. Very worthwhile.

You're welcome, Keith.

One thing I do know, even though I don't know jack about Photoshop and stuff like that, is how to provide good customer service. I learned a lot from running a very successful blog site. I've taken all of the things I learned there and applied them here.

Be responsive to your readers/users/members -- and their needs -- and the site will thrive.

Anyhow, keep the suggestions coming. We're just getting started.

Have to check all this out...
2 am..just got home, 22F outside. Order entry system down for the 2nd night in a row during eve. shift - worked from 3pm to 1am...like I said, 2nd night in a row, in a 700-bed hospital...Not fun to be a pharmacist on such nights :(
Oh well - I have a ZHP :) ..the over time eve shift money will help :)

Life of a pharmacist, I guess. Sounds brutal -- that third shift. I'm a wuss. I'd die if I had to work during what would normally be my prime sleeping hours.

at least it's not all 3rd shift - i get some normal shifts, too. Btw, wifey is also a pharmacist, but that hospital is so tiny, the pharmacy closes at 7. Damn with all those night shifts, I feel like I haven't seen her for a while...this eve. though :)

sorry, OT. Thanks for the nice comments, Marcus. I got some sleep after all.

Could someone take some time (when convenient) and describe some of the features.

Also....I couldn't really efficiently use it, so any direction and/or tips would be great.

Features: Unread posts. This isn't a huge advantage with zhpmafia because you can use the new posts button, but on BF.c it saves a ton of time because it pulls the newest posts from all forums. I catch some stuff that I wouldn't normally see otherwise.

The participated tab is great because it grabs any threads in which you've participated and shows any new posts so you don't have to subscribe to threads and deal with all of the email.

Much easier to read, browse, and post than the mobile browser.

Ability to add a specific forum to your favorites list for easy access. Helpful for e46 forum on BFc. Will become more useful as zhpmafia grows in users and posts.

Usage:

For zhpmafia, I mostly work off of the unread post tab. For BF.c, I check the participated tab first to see if anyone has responded to a thread that I've posted on, then I browse the unread post list to see if there's anything of interest, then I move on to the e46 forum and browse those posts.

Don't know if any of that helps. If there's something specific you're looking to do or a specific problem, ask away and I'll try to help.

Of course, this is all predicated on the fact that you were able to locate the forums and login via Tapatalk.

+1. Agree wholeheartedly. Tapatalk is like adding meth to my already addictive crackberry.

I haven't used this app before - but love it. I'm able to keep up with all of the posts much better than before when I was using mobile opera or the blackberry browser.

Thanks Marcus. I just checked the Forum Runner website and it appears they currently support iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch and Android OS with plans to support BlackBerry and Windows Mobile in the future.

It seems Tapatalk is leading the charge with their BlackBerry Beta.

Maybe someday I'll put on my big boy pants and get an Apple.

I've used PCs all my life... so I'm hesitant. My mother in law just got a new Mac laptop for work and loves it. I'm sure if she can operate one I can - I just hope I can do everything I want to with it (and I'm sure I can).

What would be sweet is if I could convince work to let me use a Mac that they are going to excess....
