Rear-ender. Bummer. Poor ZHP. Almost the car I want, too... Mystic on black w/6MT. :(

It actually looks like Orientblau :)
IDK what it would cost to restore this one...MasterC17, are you out there??? You could probably flip this for $12k in parts alone, if the motor is undamaged.

That front end makes me sad.

Our cars just became a little more "less special"

An angel just lost its wings.

Also, looks like it would need some major body work since the passenger side seems to have been crumpled a bit.

If someone buys this, it should be for the parts. The guy is selling it for $9000. It has 139,000 miles on it. Even without the accident, that price is getting close to what the car would normally fetch. I can only think that the guy is looking for a parts buyer rather than a car buyer. Just my guess, though.

9k? I could buy nice ZHP for 10k with a clean title

As a salvage car, it's only worth $2k or so. The owner would be much better off to part it out.

I wonder what the 6-speed drivetrain might be worth. Any ideas?

I saw someone on eBay -- about three months ago -- trying to get about $2000 for it, Michele. At least I think that's the number they were looking for.

Definitely some money to be had for parting this beast out.
