View Full Version : Burnt fog light bowl

So, I had a cracked lens in my passenger fog and Dane hooked me up with a spare to try and replace it with. I got my old lens of and found it the reflective part inside the housing to be deformed and bubbling from the heat and age, just look

I put the lens on but it is time for an upgrade. Just wanted you guys to see, yours probably look the same if original, its only gonna get worse.

Do you have details on the manufacturer? Pardon my ignorance... I have non-ZHP/M3 fogs. Are ZHP fogs ZKW? Or are you using M3 fogs? Are those ZKW also?

What about the bulb? Are you using the standard or an upgraded bulb?

This is surprising .. I'm interested to see how many others have the same issue. Given how little use fog lights get, this level of damage is very strange.

I am not sure of the brand. I am pretty sure its stock bulb and light.

It is strange, what's even more is that the back on the outside is discolored and the coating is flaking off.
