Confession... I found this one a week or so ago and was keeping it to myself. I was hoping I could finishing scraping the funds together and get over my busy hump to maybe go after this car. But, it would be enough of a logistical puzzle for me to fly into Hartford or Albany, get to rural NY to pick up the car, get it somewhere to be inspected... Then there's the fact that it's a 1200-mile/20-hour drive back to Iowa...

Makes much more sense for this car to stay on the east coast.

Certainly sounds like a fine specimen, though.

Steve, I understand. There is no rule about posting every car on this forum.

His reply... What do you guys think??? Are these common issues?

"Hello thanks, I wish more people were to the point like you instead of making it a two month ordeal, The rear tires are still ok but I was told they should be changed soon so I'll most likely do that before I sell it to anyone the front ones are fine still have plenty of life I don't really have much for service records just a few receipts but I've never had to replace anything major the only problem It does have is the fabric interior cover for the sunroof came out of the track and is sloppy when you slide it open and closed it's not something you would notice unless you actually try to open or close it the glass sunroof itself works fine I use it all the time I'll send you some more pictures of the car and I guess the lowest I'd take would be 15,300 how does that sound ? "

It was a deal at $16K. So, it's a better deal at $15,300. If this car checks out, someone should grab it.

Isn't the lack of maintenance a bit of a concern?

Also, I remember seeing an 05 zhp (coupe) in NJ last week on a different site (either craigslist or e46fanatics) offered at $16k. Will post that link later when I get some time.

The first 2006 car you listed is Neil's. It's listed at ZHPMafia.com.

I would not touch that first 2005. It's modded too much for me. Had an accident. The seller is trying to recoup his mods. He should strip it and bring it back to stock. He can sell the mods individually. Even then, it's still overpriced with an accident.

The second 2005 seller seems unresponsive.

And the second 2006 vehicle is listed at ZHPMafia.com. It's overpriced.

Thanks Marcus! I should have known better. :biggrin

Please remove my links if you think they could be confusing.

I left the 2005s. I deleted the 2006 cars, since they are already on our site.

Sorry for letting the cat out of the bag! Maybe we can set up a "first dibs" system! :-)

Confession, I found this ad about 3 months ago when I was looking for my ZHP. (it looks like the same one anyway) Negotiate accordingly for duration of time trying to sell. As always, PPI for peace of mind!

Hmm I thought it was because it had alcantra interior...I wanted leather, but it looks like it is leather. Must have just been that I found one closer that I fell for.
