Just got quoted $400 to refinish my Style 135's to new condition ($100 per wheel). Is that a fair price?

Yes, IMO. I paid 75 per, but I had several other things done. As long as the work is good, that price is spot on.

Damn, that sounds mega cheap. I paid $600 for all four, where two of them required actual fixing (one was slightly bent and the other had a crack), and even then I was told that's a great price.
Now I know I paid too much. :(

That's what I was originally quoted. Turns out my Dad is friends with the shop owner and I go to school with his nephew, so he gave me a new quote of $400 vs $600 for the set.

I'm paying that same price. $400 for the set.

FWIW the work was done by Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists. They are a franchise business and here locally I have nothing but good things to say. He's even gave me a small break on the price of these and is going to give me an additional discount on refinishing the wheels on the Audi. But those are staying silver. The franchise here had one of his trailers set up behind the Benz dealer and was doing all their repair work.

adding this to my list. found a wheel shop nearby that will refinish for ~$100 a wheel. not too shabby. probably will have this done soon.
