+ 1 for the detail and Valencia Orange color.
- 1 for the car, still very MEH about all the 1 series. Not sure why anyone would drop THAT much coin on a 1M when its only a hair more for an M3 or seriously equipped 335i

Because it's still $10-15k less than an E92 M3, and about the same price as an equally equipped 335i but you still get all the perfromance M trinkets like suspension, brakes and an LSD. I agree they skimped on some of the cool M stuff (like the seats, plus the orange stitching is lame IMO) but for a car, the thing is a beast. Even the exhaust note is TOTALLY different than a stock 135/335/335is with the same N54 motor so it is tuned differently. Plus with $500 in software you have just as much HP as an M3 but 100 more ft/lbs torque.

Seeing it next to the E46 M3 reminds me how much I prefer the E46 body style. But man, I want a VO 1M!

I love the 1M but I hate that orange color. They look great in white.

I think the orange is one of the best parts of it!

I would have to have it in VO since it's the "special" 1M color.

Yup, starting to grow on me. Plus, beautiful detailing work as always.

I think it's a love/hate thing. :) Chevy has a similar color that I can't stand either. I think it ruins a good C6 Z06.

10+ years from now you'd probably say, "man that orange looks old, dated, and why did I get that?" :)

although its not the same orange, the 2002 tii still looks good to me almost 40 years later

Sure does!

EDIT: I guess it just has to be the "right" orange and be well kept.
