I have a set of winter wheels for sale. They fit Zhp or any E46. The wheels are "Sport Edition" in 17"x7.5" (from the Tire Rack), with Bridgestone Blizzack 225-50-17 snow tires. They are in great condition. Tires have 9/32 tread depth. Wheels are located near York PA, or I work in Baltimore MD. $500. Message me, or call 410-303-3665 if interested. Thanks for looking.

We can work something out. I have not shipped anything of this size before, but I am willing to try. You do the research on a carrier and we will go from there.

Ok, from what I can find DHL seems to be the best option, and others even mentioned Greyhound (didn't know they shipped stuff).

Has anyone every shipped wheels or had them shipped to them? I am curious if the family has any information that could help us out here.

Thanks!

^^ Tirerack has a global contract with its shippers. They get awesome pricing (pricing we won't get). I'd ignore that, DW.

Best way to ship them is to buy Tire covers from your local automotive shop, or industrial strength plastic packaging from Staples or something. Get a couple of thick cardboard pieces and cut them and put them in front of the face of wheel. Secure them with duct tape and and use FedEx to ship them. That's how I shipped my wheels. It's a good idea to take air out of the tires too. Realistically you are looking at ~$100 to ship. Due to their weight. Realistically you have no other good/quick way of shipping them....

Please define "great condition". Only a few light scratches perhaps?

I dont think there are any scratches at all (if there are, they are very few). No curbage anywhere, the wheels are cherry (all four look like the one pictured), and tires are almost new. The center caps with the "Sport Edition" logo are pitting a little, but they are winter wheels.

I sprung for BBS wheels once. There was no way they would ever see the salty winter roads. You are also pretty close....

I asked, and I can send them UPS through my work. I just need a zip code, and wheel weight to give you actual price. I will bring a wheel down here to weigh it tomorrow.

yeah this is how I've always done it (sold 7 sets of rims in 2 1/2 yrs).
I will suggest you go to a NON retail shipping center for the best pricing on the shipping. FedEx Office upcharges on shipping to keep their lights on (literally). Your best bet is a 3rd party shop that just so happens to offer shipping, like a local hardware store or something.

You'll save some money if you sandwich in pairs of 2 also. In shipping the 1st lb is the most expensive so the least amount of "packages" the better.

my best recommendation for packing is:
1 piece of cardboard ---->
1 sheet of thin protective foam padding --->
wheel with face down ---->
1 sheet of thin protective foam padding --->
1 piece of cardboard ---->
1 sheet of thin protective foam padding --->
wheel with face up ---->
1 sheet of thin protective foam padding --->
1 piece of cardboard ---->
Tape that all snug together and you're good to go

Repeat for 2nd set of wheels.

Hope that helps save you a little coin.

It will be 29.87 per wheel shipped to 54601. I would ship them as 4 packages. I feel strapping 2 together has too much weight. If you want to proceed just PM me, or call me. TTYL.

Was a pleasure doing business with Audi 000. The wheels were shipped promptly, packaged well, and look AMAZING!

Here is a shot I snapped once I got them on :D (sorry for crappy quality....damn those cell phones!)

One of the benefits of limiting membership, we know who we are dealing with.

The wheels look great. And FWIW, the pic does not look low quality. It is amazing that our phones have better cameras than the digital cameras we were buying ten years ago. Yea technology! Unless they are using it to justify putting crappy HPFPs in a BMW.
