Two years ago, Stacy lost her balance on her roller skates and crashed into Art.

This past Saturday at Skateworld, Art knocked her off of her feet. This is a great couple and I am looking forward to their upcoming wedding.

It was a good time.

I did not, however, I would not have been ashamed if I had. If you take on assignment work (like event photography), the key is to understand your audience's (client's) expectations. Part of that is understanding their emotional attachment to the subject matter. If you have no ability to become emotionally connected to any photographic subject, then you might have trouble communicating with the client about what they're after.
