Well, this was not what I wanted. Some issues (not at all related to the car) have arisen and after offering it to Dane a couple of weeks ago and then debating it since then, I am reluctantly offering up for sale one very nice touring (wagon):

2002 325 iT, 55K miles & 5 speed
- Alpine white with black leather & manual heated seats
- sport package & cold weather package, no premium package (i.e., no sunroof & no power seats), faux aluminum interior trim vs. wood interior trim, HK stereo
- ZHP mods: front bumper, steering wheel (leather, not perforated), style 135 wheels, shift knob
- Dinan mods: throttle body, stage 2 software, strut bar, muffler
- Other mods: AFE CAI, VDO gauges (voltage, oil pressure & temp) where sunglass tray used to be, UUC SSK, BMW pedals
- never any accidents or paint work (other than having the M-Tech (ZHP) bumper sprayed AW when the car was new), a couple of the normal small chips due to being 9 years old, always garaged

You may recall that I just bought this car from the original owner in mid-August, have added about 2k miles since then while doing the following:
- added ZHP Style 135 wheels (used but nice)
- New Continental DWS tires, 225/40x18 & 255/35x18 (54K miles)
- New Brembo slotted rotors, pads, SS lines, & fluid fluid (53.3K miles)
- Oil changed last weekend (9/24) (54,850 miles)

Price is $13.5K firm, no trades needed as I'm thinning out
(also advertising my '09 GMC crewcab pickup locally, if it goes first then I'm keeping this touring)

Pix are a few weeks old when the car was dirty, hope to get good weather this weekend to wash it and post some new photos.

Bruce, good luck with the sale.

Also, you might want to mention that the ZHP Mafia sticker will remain with the car. Not only does it add some value to the car it's also worth an additional 5 HP. :biggrin

The younger son removed it a week after he added it, said I was being a "poser". When I asked how/why, he said why don't you just put a Ferrari sticker on it and pretend its one of those -- his words, they never made a Ferrari wagon and never made a ZHP wagon, so mine "wasn't special".

But I do have some other ZHPMafia.com stickers that can be included with the car. Also, though I'll likely have pickup separation anxiety for a while, I hope that one goes instead of the touring.

Throw in the stickers. That will work.

Damn bruce. That was quick. So let me know what your plans with the hks. So you're down to denali and ZHP vert?

Jon,
The ZHP conv is not in the mix, it stays no matter what. The Denali is needed because of the size of our family, so it stays too. The wife drives the ZHP, the son is using the Denali to get to work. I have two for myself, the truck & the touring, so one needs to go, I'll keep the other. My company is tightening their financial belt, which directly affects me, so I'm preparing myself such that it has little to no effect on our household's standard of living (other than I may be losing my toy).

So how about you sell the truck and call it a day? :)

That touring is too nice to let go...
But you do what you gotta do, so I hear ya. Good luck with sale if anything.

BP,
In the ad I said the truck is FS too & if it sells first then I'll keep the touring.

I meant only selling the truck and not even putting the touring up for sale, but I was joking. My apologies.

No bites on the touring yet, one bite on the truck, we'll see what happens.

Good luck - so many people underestimate the pure goodness of a sporty Touring! My other car is a 2003 Audi Avant Quattro 3.0 and it so much fun running errands in a sporty touring.

I'll be picking it up on Saturday. I actually chose this over a similarly priced ZHP sedan because it checks all the right buttons: wagon, check; manual, check; sport package, check; no sunroof and manual seats, check; Alpine White over black leather, check; Dinan goodies, check; low mileage and meticulous maintenance, check. It was a no brainer, and Bruce has been professional and polite throughout the entire process. Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to buy such an exceptional vehicle. I promise to take great care of it.

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to getting behind the wheel and seeing what she's got! My wife and I are expecting our first child in May, so the touring is a welcome addition to our soon to be family. I'm going to surprise her with it on Saturday afternoon, I think she'll like it! :fingerscrossed
