Edit: sold 1/5/12

Selling on behalf of a close personal friend. I can and do vouch for the condition and service history. Someone is going to get a screamingly nice M3 here. Had I already sold my own M3, I would be in the running for this one. Located in Dallas.

2003 BMW M3 convertible
48,000 miles
SilverGray Metallic exterior; gray leather interior

$25,000

VIN: WBSBR93473PK02923
Production Date: 3/2003

ENGINE

3.2 liter DOHC inline 6 cylinder. 333 hp. Maintenance is current, Inspection I done November, 2011, valves adjusted & VANOS seals replaced. Motor oil (BMW/Castrol 10W-60) with filter, new spark plugs, plus thorough brake & coolant flushes also done at this time.

TRANSMISSION

The 6-speed manual (non-SMG) transmission shifts perfectly. Tight linkage, no slop.

EXTERIOR

Exterior paint is in excellent condition, although there is a scratch about 2 inches long on the lower part of the passenger door from recent road debris that hit it (but no dent – just paint scratch).

INTERIOR

The interior is every bit as nice as the exterior. The original leather seats have no cracks or tears and have never been re-dyed. The carpet is free of spots & stains and is clean even under the seats. No runaway french fries in this M3. The dash is completely crack-free. The aluminum trim is perfect. Cup holders look good, minor scuffs on ashtray lid.

EQUIPMENT

All equipment and options work correctly including 2 master keys, power windows, power soft top, door locks, mirrors, rear defrost, all on-board computer functions, and check control system. In-dash CD player with H/K audio option and BMW 6-disc changer in trunk. Two sets of floor mats: one gray, one black.

FACTORY OPTIONS

"aluminum" interior trim; Bi-Xenon headlamps; heated seats; Harman/Kardon sound system with in-dash CD; 19" polished wheels; metallic paint

WHEELS & TIRES
Kumho Ecsta SPT tires on original BMW 19" M3 wheels. New fronts installed at 35k miles, new rears at 36k. All of which are covered nationally by Discount Tire's Road Hazard coverage (the full replacement version).

MODIFICATIONS

iPod integration kit in glove box, allows control by head unit; Genuine BMW rear deck lid spoiler, painted; All speakers replaced with Bavarian Soundwerks units that fit original speaker holes. No mods made for fitment. 10" powered sub-woofer installed in pass-thru from trunk. Again, without mods and does not affect trunk space. Professional installation was $600+, not including cost of new speakers & sub ($1240). Bass-control knob hidden in rear ashtray. Amp & control knob for the sub-woofer are Rockford Fosgate. All of this being a package sold specifically for the E46 by BSW.

HISTORY
Purchased March, 2007, at Park Place Porsche in Dallas, TX @ 11k miles. Always garaged. Not driven in bad weather (it's a 2nd car).

Wow, that is sweet. Almost as nice as my 1995 e36 Montreal Blau on Blau vert:)

The M3 didn't get an upgraded shift knob? I didn't know that. Sweet ride!

it sure didn't. ZHP is the only model to come with the not so special shorter knob.
