Thanks Dane.. I had, but was interested in a more "personal" opinion... BTW, I read that you like your Hankooks? That is about next on my list, and I was going to give them a try...

Yeah....I love em, and have nothing but good reviews....

Had all seasons on the 325i, and got the summer ones now.

I would also give Hankooks a try. I recently bought tires for the Jeep (using the tirerack ad on ZHPMafia.com), and Hankooks were on my short list. They get a lot of good reviews on tirerack.

I put a set of v4es (less sporty) on my last, an Infiniti G35... No complaints, but didn't have them on too long before hte lease was up... They will be next, and likely done in the next few weeks. Thanks all.

I've been to a few shops here in Houston for service on the ZHP and i can definitively say this shop is the best in town:

Bavarian Machine Specialties
3119 D'Amico
Houston, TX 77019
713 524 8365

all they do is BMWs.

Martin T. is the sole proprietor and is a BMW master tech from years ago. Been keeping me on the road for more than 15 years!

Solo Motorsports
2545 Pleasantdale Road #1f, Atlanta, GA

I've had good experiences with Solo Motorsports in Atlanta. Really fair pricing. BMW/Audi/Porsche. The owner has a sick 700+hp blue S4.

Does anyone know of a reputable shop around the Boston area? My friend's mom has a newer X3 that she needs some programming done to to get rid of the door dings and all of the random bongs that go off when she does anything.

Anyone suggestions?

My excellent indie is:

Bo's Motor Works
1836 E 6th St
Tempe AZ
480-996-1013
http://bosmotorworks.com

Bo runs a 2-man shop. He's a longtime dealership guy, with a zillion BMW certifications on the wall of his office. 1000% ethical, won't do anything that doesn't need to be done, fair prices, has no issue if you want to bring parts of your own. Has cared for both my ZHP and my Z4M for some time now. Highly recommended.

Farley over at Eurotech Motorsports is highly recommended. Top notch work and really down to earth guy. It's just outside the Boston area (1 hour from Providence, RI). I won't take either ZHP's anywhere else. Specializes in BMW but, he also works on Audi's, Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, Range Rover, Mercedes Benz and other european makes with up to date training.

Prices are one of if not, the cheapest in the area. He also owns a fleet of M's from the E30 to an F30.

Eurotech Motorsports

They're a sponsor on ChitownM. The guy used to work out of his garage before leasing that place about two years ago. Some months ago he moved states and sold the place to one of the people he worked with(Dan). Prices were very good and there were no issues with bringing my own parts in.

Bimmerwerks? Is that the Bimmer Werkshop on Montrose?

How's iND? Based on their website, it seems like more of a part sales and installation place than a repair shop.

Yes Bimmerworks on Montrose.

IND is actually A&L auto body. Owner was a friend, and founder of iND. I always just call it iND because it used to be both at the same location. IND moved up the road a ways a few years ago though. A&L is where all my BMWs have been serviced.

Call Jerry or Phil over at Eurocharged in H-town and tell them Seth sent you. They should be able to handle anything you throw at them.
