if anybody is interested, this guy bought a lemon that he is getting rid of (lives in Texas, Dallas area I think). He signed up for BMWmafia but I guess the issues were far too much to deal with, I feel bad that he got screwed by this deal.

"I'm trading in the car and am taking the strut bar off. I want around $500 for it. Im taking a huge negative equity hit so I can't afford to sell this thing for 200-300 dollars. Sorry if you don't agree with me, but I've already had multiple d-bags offer me $100 shipped and one offered $450 shipped."

that's around what i've seen them sell for. if you were lucky enough to get it when they were first discontinued you paid around $300

yeah, $800-1000 if you can find one. I saw another guy on e46f selling his for $600
