I saw this over at Concord Motorsport over the weekend so I figured that I would post it here. Very nice car.

Those are some interesting numbers on that car... both price and power. The power numbers are false unless the car runs meth (you can't get that much out of an N54 otherwise), which I didn't see listed. My friend used to run Dinan, he dynoed a lot less than that and had all the supporting mods.

My laughing was also more directed at the asking price. It's a nice looking car but probably overpriced by about $13k from it's real value. If the cars mods are worth a little, I still think it would need to be dropped by $8000 to even get a bite from a buyer with 1/2 a brain who knows the Dinan parts, while nice, aren't worth the premium you pay for them.

sorry not trying to hate on the thread, just laughing at what people will try to sell stuff for. I'd advise any family member to just pass on this one.

After twelve years of highly modded BMWs, I agree with Seth. Mods get stranded in vehicles. Always best to strip a car and return it to stock. Then you can sell the aftermarket parts for more than you what would have got if you left them with the car.

As for the HP claims, there can be little doubt that they're using Dinan's published figures. This car has the bigger oil cooler, a bigger intercooler, stage 3 software, and more torque (though that seems like more torque than I've seen on any stage 3 car).

Regardless, asking for nearly $39K for a 2007, with almost 50,000 miles, is too much. My 2009, with 14,000 miles (and stage 2 Dinan) was valued at $38,000 right before BMW bought it back. I thought that price was inflated.

My guess is that this should be priced at less than $30,000.

It's priced really high and the sad thing is someone will pay for it. This dealer always prices their vehicles higher than another dealer. Even higher than two local BMW dealers in the state. Plus they are the premier Dinan dealer in the area.
