So I took my car in today to get my annual/semi-annual alignment done. When I came to pick it up, the guy told me that front right camber couldn't get to spec because the plate thing that you change on the strut tower is "maxed out". I honestly don't really know what that means.

Can anyone better explain this, and is there anything I can do to fix it? They told me to just make sure I religiously rotate my tires...

Here's the sheet I got back from them: PDF Link (https://www.evernote.com/shard/s3/sh/2c6ad081-9977-4306-8af1-6dbdc0170f27/01e01b71a2e16e541b85df29127e5b3d/res/dd38c64a-cab4-4e90-857a-3486b4505635/2011_12_03_15_01_30.pdf)

Thanks!

He just meant that punching out the pin in the FSM (open your hood and look) would only allow him to get near the spec.

I'm talking about camber here.

I would have tried to at least match the sides L to R. You could have made the left side more negative to compensate for the right staying at -1.0 (it was at -.7 and was adjusted to -.6, could have left at -.7 or tried to get it to -.8 or as close as possible to your non moving -1.0). Even in the red -1.0 isnt really going to hurt anything. Most every car I have owned had at least -2.0 or more up front (usually more). I wouldnt sweat it. Just my .02:biggrin
