You bring up a brilliant subject.

I feel that you guys (as a whole) should contact RPI. They make Skid-Plates for front bumper fangs on the E86Ms. I know another company makes a whole skid plate for the E36M front bumpers as well.

Best $60 I ever spent. Already saved me from a ding. If you look closely, you can see the plate on my bumper (bottom left)

I knew if skid plates came up we'd hear from you! I'd be in for a group buy on those. Anyone else? I wonder how many they'd need to manufacture.

I want some... BUT I want a skid plate that runs the whole underside of the bumper... I have scratches on the center of my bumper too from certain driveways I've been in

Just talked to RPI, he said he'll see how involved it is and get back to me. FYI, he said the ones he made for the Z4M were hand tooled

If the whole bumper ones are too complicated, then ask about just the ones over the "splitters".
BTW, thanks for checking.

For sure. He wants somebody to stop at the shop in Torrance so he can see what the bumper looks like. I sent him pics of mine but that's not the same

Ok, he said no. The issue is with how it would mount on the bumper. The one on the Z4 has a bolt that will break if you hit the plate hard so it won't destroy the bumper. The other issue on the MTech bumper is that it's not perfectly flat making fab much more of a pain. He said just to buy a clear bra and that's about as good as it can get
