I'm recently transplanted to NJ and would like to get a few of us East Coast peoples together for dinner and ... whatever :)

I don't know much about the area, but I'm willing to plan/coordinate something if enough people show interest :) Wether it be for Dinner & Drinks and Bowling/ Laser Tag (yeah, I'm for real) Or Atlantic City...oOoh boy. We can even make it totally kid friendly for all I care. ...who knows, some parents might need a night out :)

Thinking about Mid Feb-Early March sometime. Post up if you have any ideas or show interest and I will move on it :)

I am in! AC is always a good option. Plenty of food and drink choices there.

I'm up for anywhere, though.

Several times have been to Holiday Valley in Elliciottville, south of Gary, during March for skiing during the kids' Spring Break, and it was natural snow not manmade.

Gary, I will make sure that it doesn't snow the weekend we pick, lol. ...well If I could I would.

BCS its like 6+ hours away :( but great idea. I hear add's for Blue Mountain ski resort all of the time I will check that out, but it may be too far for some too.

Kayger can you suggest me some hotels to stay at in AC? I use Hilton rewards but when I checked the Hilton site the closet is 40 miles from AC.

Depends on where the bachelor festivities will be.

Borgata is definitely the best, imo, but also the most expensive. Borgata is also far from the boardwalk and most of the casinos.

Tropicana has a good lineup of bars and restaurants and is more centrally located.

If I was going for a weekend with the wife, I'd stay at Borgata.

If I was going for a weekend with the guys, it would be Tropicana.

Trop is very popular for bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Thanks man! I've lived this close to AC forever and never actually gone. I normally just use miles and go to Vegas. I'm going to look at the tropicana now. We don't really have a plan. We are all just giving the groom a couple hundred and telling him to go crazy.

Cool. Trop is your best bet then, imo.

Don't get your hopes up too high for AC next to Vegas. AC is a hole next to Vegas, but it's the best we've got without getting on a plane, lol.

Comedy Stop is a good time. RiRa is a great Irish pub. Great Italian at Carmine's. The PF Chang's is good. Red Square is a killer vodka bar (I've done some serious damage in there over the years). Firewaters has 50 beers on tap. There's a Hooters there for good measure-- all inside the Trop.

Have fun, man. Give a shout if you need anything.

I don't think I'll be able to make it. Gambling sounds like a good way for me to destroy my bank account.

If it was gonna be a casino run, I would have lost all interest on the spot, but this will be with familia, so I'm sure I'll have no problem having fun. :)

I'm in Atlantic City usually 2-4 times a month.

I rarely gamble.

Plenty to do if you're not a gambler.

Ryan:
I love Philly, its really cool being this close to a big city! JerZy is very pretty to live in, well at least the little borough I happen to reside :) But the roads are messed up in exchange. I see like 30-50 wild turkeys in this field on the way to work daily...its so random!! My commute is about 24.5 miles to work, and usually takes 45-55 minutes. I get to travel across sweet bridges that cost $5 when leaving JerZy each time, leaving PA is free tho, lol. My job takes up most of my time right now. I'm starting a Mitsubishi parts dept and a small service shop from scrath, Oh yeah and I have to get State Inspection Certified which is an entire mess in and of itself. Its been a real challenge some days... When I come home from work all I seem to do is read and research. I've spent about 35k on shop tools/supplies in under 2 weeks. The president of our dealership and co-owner both think I'm doing a good job, so thats cool. I've been able to buy some decent used equipment with warranty and save quite a few G's, which the owners of our place and the Dodge store have pointed out. My techs start Monday and we won't have a fully functional computer system til april now because of a "misunderstanding" with the provider. So I'm going to have to do parts inventory from an excel sheet and hand write RO's, and I will probably want to slit my wrists soon. No really...I won't, lol...just sayin'. I just haven't had the time to post on the mafia AT ALL, which totally sucks!!!! Or do much of all. I went to Columbus for a day last weekend, other than that I've been consumer by work. It will pay off :) Oh yeah!!! my demo car is a 2006 X5 4.4i :) average mpg 13.6mpg!!! ...thats trying to drive economically.

I will stop rambling now. I miss you guys, lets plan this AC thang :) :) :)

Which weekend works best for everyone? Can a mod make it this poll? My abilities are hindered, lol.

I feel bad that I haven't been able to devote time to planning this. My job OWNS me at the moment. I'm sorry fella's. If anyone can help with suggestions on what to do in AC my google searches have came up with nothing too awesome. I feel like a jerk about this...I really didn't expect to spend 65 hours a week at work when I posted this thread. I want to do this tho, I just need some help planning things and making phone calls. I literally have been trying to get to the bank for 10 days now...have to skip lunch and can't even take the time to take a pee at work, I'm jumping from problem to problem every given minute. i'm not even kidding the slightest bit. The dealership is total anarchy and I'm trying to set up a reputable service department and these fucks don't care one bit, selling cars uninspected and not PDI'd, they cater to the most ghetto of the ghetto: 350 credit score mofo's in philly...so you can only imagine what I'm dealing with. ok the end. again...sorry

Kristen,
The amount of hard work you put in now will definitely pay off. When you have the best service department in Philly, you'll be proud, and all the people that you whipped into shape will appreciate that you kicked their asses to the moon and back to better themselves as service professionals.

Just picture the day when there's that big staff meeting and you get recognized for turning the whole place around. That'll be the day you come home on time and think that it was all worth it.

I need to lose some weight as it is.

Knowing myself, I'll give in, but eating sure doesn't last more than 10 minutes!
