The C Withers Media Group MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT #1:
First off, we hope all of you had a safe and happy New Year and a wonderful holiday season. Many things have been and continue to be in the works for C Withers Media, and many changes are on the horizon.
Our first major announcement of 2012 is the shift from C Withers Media to the C Withers Media Group.
A business partnership creates many more opportunities for us as photographers, increases our efficiency and helps us provide a more dynamic variety of services.
This process has been in the works for the last year and without further explanation I would like to introduce my colleague and new co-owner of C Withers Media Group, Mark Martinez.
Mark Martinez is a well-rounded photographer, who shoots just about anything. His favorite subjects include architecture, street photography, and nature. The impetus for his interest in photography was the birth of his son. Mark simply wanted to make sure that his son had photographs (well taken) that he could look back on when he grew up.
Mark holds himself out as a photographer who adheres (religiously) to the principles and fundamentals of photography. He believes that a well-trained, fundamentally-sound photographer should be able to get any shot he or she aims to get. The quality of any picture should never be in doubt; the only thing up for discussion should be the art itself.
Mark received a bachelor's degree in history from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He earned a juris doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law.
Mark lives with his wife and son in San Diego, California.
