I don't know, but I'm guessing wide angle lens. Also guessing that it's not a true fish-eye lens because the parking lines are not curved at all. If you can get your hands on a wide angle, just get up close and start shooting until you get the desired effect. A "wide angle zoom" would help too, like a 10-22 or 17-40 lens... maybe you could rent one. I'm guessing you could use wide angle software too but maybe having the lens gives you more long term versatility.

I can't see any info on the image but looks like 24mm or less wide angle, not distorted enough to be fisheye.

see the difference? the fisheye will actually bend the lines in the photo due to the rounded glass lens type, a wide angle's glass is still flat.

Those are awesome pics! Just so you know udub I bought my canon t3i kit last week based on some research but mainly on your info and recommendation! I love it and have been playing non stop. Waiting for the weather to break a little to get outside but have been filing the card up with baby pics! Thanks for your help once again!

If your at 18mm and pretty close to the subject...you can get pretty close to it.

problem is on a t3i sensor 18mm is gonna be more like 28mm.

I'd recommend trying something in the 10-16mm range for max effect.

Good point. I'm not familiar with the t3i. Try it w/ the 18 but likely you'll need something even wider.
