Alright guys, I'm sure a few of you still have your OE burnt ZKW's any many of you are (I'm sure) looking for options. Below is a picture of AL's w/ my old ZKW lenses..and my new FX-r projectors, with ZKW-R lenses

I figured I'd post this picture so people can see the differences between AL & FX-R's if they're on the fence between the two.

Hope this helps

Sorry, I should have specified. The FXR is on top, AL on bottom.

The bottom AL is normally attached to my car. For the FX-R is sitting on top of the normal light with my bulb & ignitor attached.

well i have to admit that is a nice sharp cutoff on the fx-r. makes more sense with ZKW's as my AL's are fine... but maybe for the 2002? :idea

Gonna look awkward on a 2002 but the light output will be amazing.

Maybe... it's been done before. The '02 will be a Frankenstein machine. already has E24 rear buckets, will be getting E21 Recaro's for the front. I just found THIS (http://members.roadfly.org/cracker2/DSCN2036_edited.JPG) idea today... that's gonna happen too now that I know it's possible. Basically it will be a 2002 only from the exterior. What it actually is will be another story entirely

evidence:

(2) fx-r projectors
(2) 35 watt morimoto ballasts and 5k lamps

That's not mine, but one day... You can tell that one is a late 2002 by the fat turn signals... Actually now that I'm on my phone the pics won't load. If you're logged into Bimmerforums they should load for you
