I've got access to a lot of potential advertisers.

To this point, I've been choosing advertisers that I think you guys might like.

In this thread, I'd like to know who you buy stuff from online.

At our house we do a lot of biz with Amazon.com (an advertiser on our site), Barnes & Noble (an advertiser on this site), Drugstore.com (for aspirin, toothpaste, etc.), and others. I've applied for Drugstore.com. That application is pending.

We don't have pets but I imagine many of you do. I can apply to programs like Petsmart and 1-800-PetMeds. Not guaranteed that I'll be approved but I'd be willing to apply if you guys have something in mind.

Anyhow, tell me who you'd like to see.

We'll see what we can do.

I use sierratradingpost.com for all my camping, hiking, and outdoor gear. They also have Shoes, pet stuff, dress clothes, etc too. Its basically a high end close out place for high end brands, but prices are 30 to 80 percent less than retail. Patagonia, mtn hardware, ecco, sierra designs, etc...

Cool. Not sure if they advertise through the affiliate programs but I will check.

None of those are available, Dane. In fact, those guys usually sponsor sites (paying a flat fee each month).

So, no dice for these guys.

I order quite a bit from Bimmerworld - a great company......

Also, Tischer BMW as well as Husker BMW (www.directbmwparts.com).....
Our local dealer's parts department is awesome as well, but their online presence is non-existent......

I've already been in contact with Evan over at Tischer. He said they were not doing anything until the new year. I'll shoot him a note tomorrow.

None of the BMW dealers are doing affiliate stuff.

Already got Amazon.

Haven't seen anything from Best Buy. Will check, though.

Never heard of House Board. Will look for that one.

Order a lot of pool supplies from In The Swim (http://www.intheswim.com/). Good site for anyone here with a pool.

I just applied to Best Buy. About two years ago I was declined by them -- for another site I own. I think they require a certain amount of page views and visitors per month.

Pelican Parts (I know you said they are out - included for completeness)

Tischer BMW (saw above where you will send them a note now in 2011)

Bavarian Autosport

Autohaus AZ

FCP Groton

And I haven't started modding yet... so we'll see who I start ordering from, but I'm guessing the usual suspects... (see Dane's list)

Amazon - All our baby care products, toys, and equipment (car seats, etc)... electronics... books...

eBay - I like to window shop; random garage shirts, spare parts, books, motorcycles, used BMWs...

I already have an Autohaus AZ application pending (for two weeks now).

Sounds as though a lot of us are going to be using that Amazon link on the site. My wife has already bought five books since I posted the link here.

I'll be talking with Evan again over at Tischer.

Also interested in working with ECS.

I've been using these guys for years, one of the first BMW aftermarket suppliers that started finding and selling parts for Bimmers back in 1974.

They don't seem to do any affiliate advertising, Guy.

What about turner motorsports? I got a ton of stuff from them.

Marcus-SanDiego

Most of the aftermarket companies like Turner do direct sponsorships. We are an unestablished site. I don't see us doing biz with those guys.

Khoa does biz with me because we've known each other forever.

No dice on Sierra Trading Post. Our traffic levels are too low.

So, guys, tell your friends about the site. We need traffic levels up before Sierra will do biz with us. LOL.
