Review: Green Earth G-Foam Blaster.

I wanted a foam gun that would work with my pressure washer and provide enough foam that could cling to the car to pre-soak. Before I used the detergent hose that was attached to the pressure washer and that didn't do much at all.

After searching the internet, I found that all the foam guns I wanted were out of my price-range...or required a standard hose. Until I searched autogeek.net forums and found a cheap alternative:

http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=202184733&R=202184733

It's only $20, so I figured I would give it a shot.

This device is a simple quick disconnect that attaches to the end of your pressure washer wand...similar to what you do with other attachments.

I use 2oz of my favorite shampoo and put it into the the container:

I then carefully add hot water to fill the rest of the container, putting a ton of water in at once will foam it up...which isn't too good:

Then screw it to the rest of the device:

Going outside, and attach it to your wand...a simple quick disconnect makes life easy:

Turn on your pressure washer and let there be foam! I found out that shaking the container prior will help mix the soap up, and pre-foam:

The main purpose of this is to let the soap soak into dirt, helping it release and prevent swirls. The only problem with this foam gun is that it eats through the soap pretty quickly. There is a adjustable valve to control the soap release...but that doesn't release as much soap and it runs more than desired. It's plenty to do the whole car about twice...but if you don't like using alot of soap...this isn't for you.

A couple minutes of soaking:

Then simple keep the car wet while working around with your 2 buckets and you're done!

For $20, it something that makes my life alot easier to wash my car and prevent swirls. I would want more foam, but I can't complain. It does eat through soap, so use at your discretion.

Thanks for reading!

Amazed by your car every time I see it.

Also noting that I do not see an Ohio state vehicle inspection sticker. Win.

Yup, no inspection stickers, and lucky for you, you do not need to do emissions. Unfortunately we are required front plates :(

The foam cannon is still going strong, and will be using it on my review this weekend for a new detail product ;)

Good deal. I'm replacing my windshield when I get up there and get plates.

Solid. The new plates are so much better than the farmer plates

Good deal. So two options. Farmers plates or white ones?

Should be just the White ones now. They should of phased out the Farmer ones.

When I renewed my tags for the 128 and Z4M, I ordered new plates for the Z4 and was defaulted for the White, new ones (Ohio Pride I think they are called). This was the message:

Customers who still wish to obtain the Beautiful Ohio license plate design have the option to purchase the standard license plate at their local deputy registrar office until June 30, 2013, or until inventory is depleted at a specific location.
