What is beneficial about these, over a normal cutting pad?

these were designed to work with the Meg's D300 which is their microfiber correction system.

in my opinion I feel the pads go in this order from heavy cut to finishing.

Surbuf --> Microfiber Cutting --> Uber Yellow ---> Uber Orange -->Uber Green ---> Uber Microfiber Finishing (not on the site yet) -- >Uber Blue ---> Uber Black
