My thoughts are...I was going to get this kit.....

Turner sells it > Up check

I think those spring rates are a TAD low....but don't necessarily pay much attention to that (As I'm not a Track Rat).

I'm sure it's a great kit. I would give them a call, in addition to asking for input here.

Thanks Dane! Any other's first hand experience or 2nd hand impressions?

my cousin has this on his ZHP.

great coilover setup. It handles quite nice with the TMS Sway bars paired with them coilovers.

couple complaints from me:

-the struts are stiffer than they need to be. It is significantly bouncy for the people in the back seats of the 4door. for a setup with 400lbs/in 470lbin F R it doesn't need to have shocks that stiff.
-his rear strut perches broke twice while adjusting (i believe this maybe user error but I'm not sure as I wasnt there.)
-no adjustment on the shock's dampening makes it a kit I don't want since I like to fine tune my street setup and track setup but not everyone needs that.

But didn't you (JR) just put on a new H&R cup kit?

That's what I thought too. Not low enough for you!? :)

I spoiled myself by putting on race spring and I loved the handling and the low. But because the dampening rates didn't match, I had to go back to Sport springs...now they aren't low enough when they prolly wlda been fine if I never had the race springs, lol. So, I see a guy on e46 selling a this TMS new set of coilovers for a good price, plus I may have found a buyer for my sport cup kit w/o even trying, so it seems things ay be coming together. I really don't need coilovers as I don't track or autox, but this price is the same as an H&R kit, so I'm considering it. I like it lower. Derbo, given those facts, what do u think, wld the coilovers be overkill?

For clarity, when I said I had to go back to Sport springs, that was with the HnR Touring Cup Kit. Can u edit a post in tapatalk?

These would be $875 shipped. How much are the Bilsteins? These would be a wash if I sold my Cup Kit and my Race springs. EDIT: I should add that I really like the H&R, but given a wash in the price, I'd take lower.

A guy is selling his new setup that he purchased but didn't install as he's sold his car. It's a moot point now as the guy who I thought was going to buy my H&R Touring Cup Kit decided not to, as he wasn't ready yet.

sucks....

I honestly say if $ isn't the issue get the bilsteins - regardless of what model. Things are rock solid. Watch out for those lower end H&R kits if you are looking. They aren't weather proofed so anything other than living in Phoenix and they'll start to rot on you over time (especially with sea salt moisture in the air).
