Oh and we did a photo shoot on the bridge tunnel.

Got home around 4:30, was great meeting everyone and truly appreciate the welcome and kindness extended to a non ZHP owner.

Apologies for missing the Saturday evening activities as I had to take the family out on a mini Williamsburg cruise then ice cream to cap it off...

Home, had a blast. You all are so great. The level of hospitality still amazes Katie and I coming from other car communities.

Heather and I got home at about 4:00pm today. After stopping to pick up the kids from the grandparents house. Then I immediately left to go get our '4 legged' kids because the house is just too quiet & calm without them. :)

It was great meeting everyone, we had a wonderful time. Heather was amazed that we went to a 'car' event and people didn't talk about cars the whole time. She really felt welcomed and we are already planning for next year.

Home, unfortunately :( Nothing exciting to talk about, except that one weird thing I found on the radio.

Auto-wipers and auto-headlights sure came in handy today. Drove through numerous heavy rainstorms, lots of start-and-stop stuff. Didn't even need to touch a dial. I <3 German engineering. Tires worked excellent. No sign of hydroplaning in sight. Gripped to the road like glue.

^Hehe.

Home. Pushed off our 1615 ferry to 1815 so we could enjoy an early dinner.

Had a great, trouble-free drive home. Enjoyed the first half of the run with Marc (who subsequently learned that my wife put the PRO in procrastination).

Greatly enjoyed meeting new peeps and catching up with old friends that I haven't seen since last year.

Weekends like this remind me how damn fortunate I am to be surrounded by such a great group of human beings.

DW-- thank you again to you and your wonderful family for opening your home to us yet again. You, my friend, are truly the best.

Just got in. Family was happy to see me. Already missing my other family. Lots of left lane campers on the road in MD tonight...nothing more annoying than that!

Got home around 18:30 tonight. Lots of stop and go traffic; made it in about 7 hours. The cars covered in bugs/other debris, but I'll deal with that tomorrow.

Hadley and I had a great time, and enjoyed meeting everyone, finally. We really have an awesome group of people here!

Home safe after an uneventful trip at 9:15! Yes, traffic was stop, go...stop...what the heck people! Stop rubber-necking and causing a half-mile backup! (End Rant). :devilish

A huge thank you to the Wilson Family along with the other bosses and family members that helped to put on a great SIGfest weekend!! Do we really have to wait another 365 days to have that much ZHP fun again??

"home" i.e. at the hotel at our next stop by 7PM yesterday - had no time to log in, beer was calling.
NJ Turnpike was stop-and-notgo for the longest time, quite a pisser. Discovered Waze, had fun with it.

Had a great time, thanks again to the organisers!!

I used Waze the entire trip. It was great to say the least. Especially since its completely FREE. Traffic updates, police sightings, road debris reports, all accurate.

We made it in at about midnight last night. Too tired to unpack the car, went in the house and crashed. We had an amazing time :)

It was great meeting new friends and catching up with those we met last year. I hope to see many of you again at Bimmerfest East in August.

Made it home ~9pm last night, and hit the hay soon there after. Great ride back, a little light rain but hardly any traffic. And no speeding tickets!

Had a blast this weekend. I love you all! Miss everyone already. (Not going to cry.........again.)

Hey everyone!

I finally made it back after spending 12 hours on the road...10 of them cruising with BP. It has been a great weekend and I truly enjoyed meeting everyone! :thumbsup

After all that work on my car...it performed flawlessly! A really big shoutout to Kyle for getting in there with me to get my VANOS seals done and to Rob for giving me a hand with my ignition coils.

Also a special shoutout to John for sticking with me throughout my maintenance....I really appreciated all the positive energy :)

Thanks. Definitely will be there. If you're up for it... or we could eat somewhere else. I'm getting to Lou's around 10-10:30. I can come after, or if available, you could pick me up for lunch.

Kyle was happy to help you. He didn't even get dirty!
BTW, John is positive energy. Whe you think to yourself, "I can do this.", that's John in your head.

I actually will be on assignment in Washington state from June 5th - June 15th so you guys are likely going to miss me, but the rest of these turkeys can show you a good time. Make sure you request Burger Lounge by name.
