So....to possibly correct poor reception of our stock antennae, I have directed many times to remove drivers side c pillar, and check to ensure the connections are tight.

My question is......Is there a bauce, plug and play antennae for ours cars that will improve reception.

Not interested in doing any sharkfin mods.

run a really long wire up and down the c-pillar as an antenna?

My antenna reception is atrocious as well. I've been dealing with it for a few months now. I've read that it can be loose wires in the fzv module or just a crapped our one

I bet we could make a boat load by building (and selling) a plug and play antennae for E46, that had stellar reception.

Mine seems pretty good. I have used signal boosters before with good results.

Here is a link for some fm signal boosters at good prices

I had one similar to this
http://m.ebay.com/Pages/ViewItem.aspx?emvAD=640x287&aid=280839845176&emvcc=0

This is similar and not the exact that I had but I would give it a shot, looks like good feedback. Mine was from the 80's and worked great.

honestly since I took off the C-pillar and tightened the connection my radio picks up stations better than any other vehicle I've driven.

My reception sucks. I've read that metallic based window tint adversely affects window mounted antennas.

Hmm. I may need to give this a try. My radio is kind of static-y
