Nah. It was a very crispy leaf. The water from the cup never soaked the leaf. All good, JJ.

As for the meets, a lot of us have known each other for a LONG time. We use these meets as excuses to see one another.

even if you don't know a particular person in our circle of trust, knowing just one of us with a good vouch from a respected long termer can get you in.


It's a tangled web we weave but I met Mark about a year ago through someone who I had known for about 2 years before I moved to California (about 5 years at this point). That person (Khoa) recommended that I get all work done on bimmer at a shop owned by Shane ( Euroautospot ), turns out Mark knows Khoa and Shane and both vouched for me when Mark needed some photos of his car. My client then turned into my friend and then led to more photoshoots up to this point. Ultimately now, if Mark didnt insist on paying, he would be getting the best rates in town.

Mark and Khoa have known each other for about 10 years, so I was accepted into the inner circle of trust, which now grants me the opportunity to go to secret dinners and have facebook chats with these guys.

Right now I am just a wiseguy in our real life ZHP Mafia.

When you're hunting elk (Deer, Bear, Moose for that matter), and you haz to go really bad.....typically a leaf (Leaves) would be called a Rocky Mountain Butt wipe.....though I have actually used a rock. Not too proud of that fact....but may put me on the cutting edge of hunting hygene....

Great starter camera Dane and you will learn a lot just flipping through the manual. However, the inability to use AF lenses in lieu of the AF-S requirement will get very expensive and as prohibitive as Rocky Mountain Butt Wipe should you decide to upgrade glass in the future.


If you are in the market for a DSLR, I have a D300 and a really nice lense selling for just around double that....Just sayin...
