I am replacing my headlight washer cover (fell off).

There are two part numbers, one primed (61677066848), one is more expensive which implies it is painted but doesn't seem to allow me to specify the color on any website (61679071451).

Assuming I buy the primed one, what would be the best way to paint it? Use the OEM touch up paint + clear? Or is a spray a better option?

My color is mystic blue metallic.

Thanks!

Spray. I picked up 2 cans of Imola on line.

I think I got it at the below link. I will verify when I get home.

I also picked up some of the clear, and the Aerosol Spray Can Trigger.

Another option is.........find a local auto parts store with a paint department and they can usually mix up paint from your paint code or they can also scan a color and mix some up that way but using a specific paint code is probably more accurate. I had a can of Imola mixed up once and it was a perfect match, plus this way you know the paint is fresh. It was like $18 a couple of years ago.

EDIT: I painted my reflectors and fog light bezels with it.......
