I'm guessing, John, that we're getting a lot of Google traffic. Actually, that's not a guess. We are getting a lot of Google traffic. We're also getting visitors from the Wikipedia page. And from the ZHP Registry. And other sites.

What's more, people are simply telling others about us. I monitor all sources of traffic. I can see where every hit comes from.

Plus, I don't even look at member count when I measure the growth of this site. Visits and page views are much more important. You want your members and visitors to find the material on the site worthy enough to hit the "next" button.

Our members -- and non members -- are absolutely showing up in droves every day. If we get new members who fit in around here on a daily basis, that's all the better. But member count simply isn't the best way to determine whether the site is growing (or peaking).
