Never a big fan of the PHX yellow. However, I did know a guy in San Diego who had a PHX yellow M3 with black interior. It looked very decent. He also had some nice wheels on it, too, which made it look better.

But, generally, not such a fan. That is a nice car, though.

I like the concept of BMW Individual program. Wouldn't mind a yellow car if it was my summer toy.

I also like the individual color program. I'd have PHX on the track. Might be a cool place for it. Just not my cup of tea on the streets.

Just out of curiousity, why in a lighter color? With a red exterior, the darker the better. Anything lighter doesn't look right. Tan on red, especially...
I've never understood this "bright exterior, bright interior" thing. There is no proper contrast. White on tan, red on tan... I'm not seeing it. :dunno

Taste in color is one of those things that you can't really argue about...

How about this for something different? http://www.zhpregistry.net/individual/phoenixyellow.aspx

Absolute yuck. Colors don't contrast well at all.

Very interesting. Thats a chic color though...imho.

I wouldn't feel right cruising in that honestly.

For me, PY can look good with a bunch of aggressive mods but rarely looks good plain and stock.

Obviously, the only examples out there are M3's...

You're getting a lot of listings on the site - very nice work. While PY wouldn't be my first choice, it definitely is unique. If the car wasn't a tragomatic it would be even cooler!

I've never seen the color in person but in most pics it doesn't look right to me. In Eli's pics it does look good.

I've seen the color on an M3 around these parts. Depending on the lighting, it looks kind of like pea soup or throw up. Yellow just isn't one of the colors that I would choose...ever. Even that orange metallic on the new 1 Series M is not so appealing. Maybe if I saw it in person. Or, maybe I'm just showing my age. (46).

But, just like they say, to each his own.

Yep. Definitely some green in that yellow. I didn't know many who liked that color when it came out.

You're going to get the color at a discount (these days) and you're going to sell it at a discount when you get rid of it. It's a tough sell.
