Well I will start off

Tuesday on Rt 101 East, just left Bav Auto around 4ish. I saw a Silver Grey Metallic 330i ZHP looked as it was in very good condition from far. I was going west.

A few times a week I see a red zhp coupe near Centerville DE on my way back from the Y at about 5:45AM.
I see a silver zhp coupe around Greenville occasionally.
I have seen a clean black zhp sedan in West Chester- though not recently.

spotted at a local dealership (Fayetteville, NC) when I got my sub frame inspection done a few weeks ago.
Went and talked to the guy, in his late 20's, served in the military, he said.
I took a cell phone pic (with his permission), and had a nice chat about ZHPs, and he also admired my coupe, and took a pic. He came in to get the Roundel on the hood replaced and to get all weather mats.
His is a 2004 with 65k miles. This is the only other "Live" ZHP i have seen since I got mine.

Saw a ZHP (clubsport) coupe on Top Gear last night. It was in traffic while they were doing the "Old British Sports Car" challenge.

Very rare around here. I did see one last spring then I few months later saw it online for sale. I'm not sure if he sold it or his ad just expired and he never bothered to renew it. It was a TiAg sedan, 6mt, leather with 80,xxx miles on it. IIRC he was asking $14,000. I did save his phone number just in case someone might be interested.

Just moved to San Diego from the SF bay area. Up there, I only saw a ZHP maybe once a month, maybe. Down here, wow. They are everywhere! At least one a day! I am now in the Escondido and constantly see a silver (TiAg?) and a black ZHP.

Saw a gorgeous Alpine Coupe last week. Was trying to turn onto the road I was on and turned on behind me. When I got stuck behind another car, he passed and not even a glance. :(

To me, the easiest giveaway is the Style 135 wheels (stock on ZHP, and as far as I know not available on other packages). Very distinctive. However, it's tough to pick these out on a moving vehicle, so then you go to all the little things Dane pointed out. And of course, some of us run different wheels for part or all of the year, so those other little touches are especially helpful in identifying a ZHP.

OK. Used the side marker trick and spotted one on the 405 North in Long Beach, CA. I was pretty pumped about it and pulled along next to it for a ZHP mafia nod and it was two older (late 40s?), heavy set women just gabbing away, going about 65 in a 65 (which no one in LA does). I had to laugh at that and I wondered if they were driving their husbands car (but that would be age-ist and sexist (but I'm in my late 40's so scratch the age-ist)). :-)

Imola Red ZHP sedan I have seen around Kennett Square/Chadds Ford, PA several times. I've been in the Alpine White E36 M3 sedan or the Alpine White E30 318is; if the person with that car is on here.

I finally saw another ZHP in my area this week. It was parked at a hardware store near where I work outside the North Gates of LSU. Been there all week so I am gonna assume they work there. Its a grey sedan. Had a gnarly dent in the rear passenger door, but is otherwise stock in appearance and very clean.

The PO of mine did a number on several things and just plain neglected the inside and outside of the car. It was a CPO though so I at least know they had some good work done at the dealer.

Way back when, when I had my '72 2002 whenever you saw another BMW you would flash your headlights at the other guy or girl. In particular, the hot blonde that drove a maroon 2002.:biggrin

So far since buying the ZHP I've had one wave from a guy in a nice E39 5 series. Not alot of Bimmers around here though I did see one ZHP so far, a silver sedan. Pretty sure it's the one I saw a month or so later on a local autotrader type site.

I was waiting in line at a car wash last summer and I'm pretty sure I saw another Imola coupe pulling off the Interstate nearby, I was tempted to see if I could try and chase him down but it probably would have been hard to catch up to him.

No way to get a pick as I was taking a huge bite of a 5 Guys Hamburger as I looked up and saw the rear bumper cruising past the shop.

I know it was a ZHP....I could smell it.

When I first ordered my car (they didn't have any with the options I wanted), I ordered Sapphire Black Metallic with the Natural Brown leather. Killer combo IMHO. Then, everywhere I went, I saw tons and tons and more tons of black 330's. About the same number of silver and gray cars. It kept bugging me that after all of the searching for just the right car (Acura TL, Lexus IS300's etc), my car would get lost in the sea of black/silver/grey BMW's. Then, I went to a dealership and I saw it. Imola red...It was just absolutely stunning. It was even better that it was an 'exclusive' M color too. That was all there was to it. I changed my order and the rest is history.

It's not just Imola, it's red in general. You don't see too many red BMWs. If you went out and counted them, M or not, you will probably find 1/30 BMWs to be red. I know that I see a red BMW (other than mine :) ) around here maybe once every two months.

Not sure if this is ZHP or not. The shot of the shifter is too quick for me to tell if he has the black cube trim or not. Also, the interior looks too light.

Couldn't see much as we were headed in opposite directions at a closing rate of around 170 mph ;)

I've twice spotted a Steel Grey coupe on I-675S going to WPAFB Area B; looked clean, "GYMRAT" tags, (enthusiastically) driven by a 40s-ish gentleman. Both times passed me through traffic; I tried to get his attention to compliment his choice of vehicle, but alas could not.

Also saw my Z's twin on Vance AFB when I was there in '07: stock-looking Silver Grey 6MT sedan (though I don't have the usual lip spoiler).

He doesn't have a ZHP if you look in his sig. It's a 330Cic if I remember correctly. He has headers + custom exhaust which would give him more horsepower than the ZHP.

My friend who just got another job (we used to work together) says that the other day he was walking out of work to go home and he saw a ZHP that was EXACTLY like mine, with Massachusetts plates!

Things that affect power DIRECTLY: headers, ported heads, wheels (trust me, they make a difference). I'm not stating other things that have an effect on how fast my car is.
My motor is also on the stronger side of the range. I am usually even or pull a bit on stock ZHP's. I have a 6 speed also if it matters to you.

The other day I FINALLY saw an Imola ZHP in person going down the street in the opposite direction. We were going slow enough for me to get a good look and verify that it was a real ZHP. I blew my horn but the guy just kinda looked at me like wut.

I also left a card on a black ZHP that looked just like mine did when I got it. Haven't seen them on the site yet. I see the car on Sunday mornings when I leave my girls house so I may have to just leave another one.
