Google Analytics measures similar-sized sites vs. other similar-sized sites.
We're considered a medium-sized site for benchmarking purposes.

For the last 30 days we have outperformed all of our benchmarks -- except in one area: new visitors.
For medium-sized sites, the average for new visitors is 63.15%. That is, on any given day, 63.15% of the visitors to any given site (in my category) will be new. New visitors on my site comprise 26.72%. As we move forward, that number will go up (especially because of the Google traffic we get). Still, we'll likely always be well under the benchmark. ZHPMafia.com enjoys a lot of member loyalty. We get a lot of return visits.
Anyhow, it's nice to see that we're outperforming most benchmarks.
