So...I have this now.

How do I use it to it's full capability? :dunno

If any of you pro's want to share tips, tricks and idea's, that would be great.

The reason I ask is because I ran a scan today with it.

Page 1 was the only page with errors.

You can see that "Heater and Automatic Conditioner Control" is one line item that has a code, and the other one is "LCM" that has 4 codes.

When I hook up my Actron code reader, I get:

Why don't these codes show up when I run a session with the v1.4.0 scanner?

The codes above are what prompted me to do Post CAT O2 sensors.

Anyways, just looking for a little clarity and help on this stuff. Thank you.

If you double click on the "ZKE" there will be more options for you to customize. Some of the others will have sub-menus as well. It's been a long time since I used mine.

Oh, I never found a way to display the P0XXX codes. If someone knows, I'll be interested in that as well.

Generic code readers only pull codes from the DME. If you double-click the no errors next to DME your O2 codes should be there as "shadow" (resolved) codes. Is CEL still on?

Yeah...I cleared it yesterday and came back on this morning, so post cats O2 sensors did not fix this issue.

Currently looking through this.

OK....thanks for the help guys. Apparently I'm just not "clicking" enough :)

First time I've heard of this... can it program modules, etc?

OK. Got it. Thanks. I was able to find, read and clear these 2 codes.

I know they will be back, so what I'll be looking for in the future is, is there any other info to glean from the actual module/parameter that is in error?

Can I monitor how stuff is operating with the car running?

Yes you can. I don't know the actual areas to look for but it is in there. Probably under DME I think.

DW, I can look for you, but whatever module it is, will have a box on the left that reads "Live Data" which then in turn shows you what the O2's are seeing.

DW, I already PM'd you this info. But so that others can see, it's in the DME and then Live Data to read the O2 info.

I was able to activate the alarm using this scanner on one of my E46s, however when I check marked the high beam and parking lights for flashing when the alarm goes off, no high beam or parking lights flash when I panic the car. Does anyone have insight to this?
