Do you know when the deer incident happened ? I would be worried if it was very recent. If it has been a while since the incident, and the paint and repair still look good now, then they did a good job and there's nothing to worry about. Just my 2 cents.

Yes that hood is modified - there is no trim around the kidney grilles. Looks weird!
Looks really clean for that much mileage. The deer thing concerns me, I'd have to really check it out.
