Made it home, 965 miles total. Had one wreck to contend with, just north of Louisville and a section of I-65/I-24 shutdown in Nashville due to construction.

Good deal Guy. Thanks again for coming, and Happy Birthday. Wished I'd have known before you left.

Home! 1,825km round trip.
8.1L/100km (29.04mpg).
Everyone: it was an absolute pleasure meeting all of you.
Dane: thanks so much for hosting that, it was a blast.
Just got home. 530 miles in just over 7 hours with two pit stops. Some children of the corn shit was goin down right next to I70. Had to stop for a leg stretch in the middle of the 695 parking lot for construction.
Thanks for hosting Dane! And sending my my jacket; it wouldn't be right if I didn't leave something! It was great to meet you all and I look forward to the next one!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b6b886ea7e.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...af1bd02a70.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...5df2af03f7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...18f2153107.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...304061882c.jpg

Many thanks to Seņor Wilson for hosting, and also to the attendees. Hamburgs and dogs were :biggrin
Also thanks to everyone that helped on Sunday. After the IACV cleaning and intake boot change, the power delivery seems to be a bit smoother especially in the troubled ~3K-ish and 4k-ish range. Hopefully it lasts for more than a day. :fingerscrossed
Had a really awesome time. Dane, a huge thank you to you and your family for hosting this. It's a long drive but definitely worth it every year.
Got home around 11:30pm last night. Drive wasn't too bad, and the winter wheels were dropped off at my parents house.
So at first it was hard to tell what the shark actually did. Having four winter rims and tires in the car adds a lot of weight and I couldn't really tell if I had any extra power. I noticed right away that the 4k dip was smoothed out to be barely noticeable though. Honestly that was the only thing I really cared about since mine got so bad it felt like hitting a wall at 4k rpms. It's hard to describe, but the power delivery is different and I want to think the car has a little more power. It certainly feels that way especially with the dip almost completely gone. 6th gear at 80+ is a monster now, ask Justin.
Having real eggs for breakfast today :D
Sounds like this reunion was another success. I already started a PR campaign to attend a future one.
