You pull out your LCM like this...

There's a label on the top part of the LCM. You unplug your LCM and remove it to get a better look at the label.
The original LCM label plate would probably look like this...

Updated LCM label plate with s/w 4.0

Stupid question.....We have to update our LCM? Works fine with me. I'm using the LCM to hook up my Xenons.
You "nudge" the lane change signal stalk, and it blinks 3 times (triple blink). You don't have to signal, then "un-signal". Very cool, especially when you are accelerating through traffic and want the focus on the road.
This triple blink comes installed on the 4.0 version? Do I need any other further coding if I was purchase a new LCM to make it work like what I have which I think is the 3.5 version? Which ones of the numbers in the LCM plate is the P/N?
Yes, 4.0 haz triple blink capability that you can then activate through coding.
Just so everyone knows....both the s/w 4.0 and s/w4.5 LCMs have one touch triple blink capability. As long as your LCM has this s/w version you can code in one touch triple blink :thumbsup
Good point Charlie. 4.0 or higher would be more correct. His question was did 4.0 work, which is of course, yes.
