Lol, she fine now... already driving her car. The operation was a success and all of her pain is gone! She just has to heal from the incisions.
Yesterday she went for a joy ride in the golf cart and ran out of gas a couple of neighborhoods away and and to call someone to rescue her... she's a trip!
Less that 200 miles to go and it's broken in!
Matt at Charleston Performance Center told me he'd do a base dyno run on her car for free. He's going to put a video on his website. He said her car will generate about 20% spike in business... sounds good to me!
Good news all the way around.

Good news on all accounts, except for the running out of gas bit...
And Mrs Sockethead gets a vig on that, right?Quote:

Lol yep!
Car is fully broken in. Interestingly, there seems to be a setting for break-in called "run-in check" that they reset when they do the 1200 mile service. All fluids changed too. I didn't get much of a chance to really lay into it but the car feels really strong.
There are a lot of interesting features on this M2 that I want to share but no time right now. Some of these features are definitely race car. Very cool!

Did you/Kristen celebrate by laying down rubber as you left the dealership? [emoji6]

Glad they started doing fluid swaps after break in. I remember when BMW went to 15k mile service intervals in the early 2000s and people would go the first 15k miles on the original oil...eek.
