Hey all,
I was browsing some pictures in the classified section and noticed that all of the auto zhp's have alcantara shift boots and ebrake boots. Can anyone clarify if this is a standard feature or optional because my car (bought it used) came with a black leather shift boot and black leather ebrake boot. Thanks.
Hello! I'll wait for the others to chime in, but the ZHP interior was available in alcantara/cloth or leather.
I'm not sure which was "standard".

My AUTO has leather.

Yes they did in fact do that. I bet it's in the FAQ. Maybe not...
I have the alcantara seats, yet my shift boot, e-brake boot and steering wheel are leather. I would have guessed that it was tied to the material of the steering wheel, I have a late build 05 after everything was switched to leather. :(

Yes. It was the spring of 2005. BMW stopped with the alcantara wheels. I believe they also stopped including shift boots and ebrake boots, too. Premature wear cited for discontinuance.Quote:
