My Steering Feels Very Heavy

I have a 2004 ZHP I purchased in February. Ever since I got it I felt like the steering was a bit heavy. I never had anything to compare to.

I finally drove an E46 M3 and the steering felt so light compared to my car.

Is the ZHP supposed to be heavy or is my steering rack messed up?

I checked there are no leaks and fluid is full

I would change the fluid first if it hasn’t been recently and see if it makes a difference.

Next I would change the tie rods if they haven’t been replaced. New tie rods made a huge difference to the steering effort.
