What a time capsule

GLW/auction. FYI, BaT didn't post your car in the proper ZHP section. Two other cars are in there now, but not yours.

Fredo, thank you. BaT added the listing to the correct ZHP section.
You're welcome. BTW, auction ends in 3 hours and current bid is $19,000.
Yeah, thought something was weird. When I searched ZHPs this wouldn't come up, but would when you scrolled through all of the BMWs, hopefully this doesn't effect the final outcome as I see someone just made a comment about a PPI with only a few hours remaining (which would def. be hard to complete and can't sell dependent on a potential PPI). Beautiful car, hope it pulls top dollar for you!
Congrats - $32K is solid.
+1. Only 3 ZHPs have sold on BaT above $30k :
2003 IR sedan with S54 : $32,750 on May-2020
2003 SG sedan with 54k miles : $33,000 on Sep-2021
... and today's vert.
Yowza! $32,000 for an automatic convertible ZHP! We are now in the big leagues! We ZHP owners have got to love these new highs as it pulls our high mileage ZHPs to higher valuations, too, assuming there is a bell curve aspect to the pricing/valuation distribution. Yes, our high mileage ZHPs are in the left side of the bell curve distribution. Still, if one is to accord statistics validity (and I do because of statistical training and use in a long ago QC career), the X bar (average of all points i.e. selling prices) is surely moving to the right and thus our least desired for collectibility ZHPs are also being pulled upward. A fellow statistician could argue the sigma (standard deviation) is changing more significantly than the average with the high ticket outliers being recently seen on Bring a Trailer.
What are my fellow ZHP owner's thoughts? Are high mileage ZHPs also seeing a similar percentage uptick as being seen with low mileage ZHPs (percentage change, not total dollars change)?
Valid point. I paid $9,100 for my 2005 ZHP sedan back in 2015. A similar one sold in BaT last month for $12,750. That's a 40% difference.
