The Ultimate Xenon Retrofit Package - disassembled ZKW xenon with AL lenses
Well after finally getting my new AL assemblies and ZKW lenses swapped over and installed, I have a fully functional set of ZKW xenon assemblies with AL lenses that I'm looking to part ways with. Igniters and ballasts are also included and installed.
After spending way too many hours getting the swaps completed, I decided not to reassemble the original ZKW assemblies as the bowls are burnt and the shrouds could use replacing. This is the perfect starting point for someone who wants to experiment with retrofitting another projector into the assemblies.
The included bowls are the clemsone refurbished bowls that I purchased about 1.5 to 2 years ago. They were a great temporary solution but as you can see from the pics, the coating has failed resulting in rather poor light output once again.
The AL lenses are brand new from the Magnetti Marelli xenons I purchased and have never been used.
The problems:
1. The interior black trim on the driver side is broken but still is able to connect and looks ok.
2. The mounting bracket on the driver side is broken. It was thrown in a fit of rage. I'll include in purchase.
Included is everything you see in the pictures. I am including a set of used high beam/DRL bulbs and brand new osram xenon bulbs that came with the new assemblies.
