Hi everyone,
This is my car for sale...I'm a long-time member here, but wanted to give my local BMWCCA chapters first-dibs on the car in the hopes that it would stay local. The description above is a pretty good summary, but I've got a ton of additional info if anyone is interested. Here's the background:
I live about 1 hour northwest of Philadelphia PA (zip 19610). The car really doesn’t get driven much anymore, so it’s just sitting most of the time. I ordered it new, it was garage-kept its entire life until 2 years ago. It has 102K miles now.
I did the cooling system proactive replacement at 73K, and I just replaced all the front bushings and control arms last month. I follow Mike Miller's (Roundel) Lifetime Maintenance Schedule pretty religiously. Have all service records from new (I’m an engineer who obsesses over my cars...do most of the work on them myself too).
Asking $12.5K, including winter/summer wheels and tires, plus including over $500 in parts that I ordered over the last year for preventative maintenance but haven’t had a chance to install (new DISA valve, new intake boots, new oil level sensor, new front and rear brake pads, new front and rear brake hoses).
I'm not in a rush to sell it until it starts warming up, and I can take the puny 17” winter wheels/tires off the car (they look emaciated in comparison to the 18” BBS wheels, but will get you through the worst of the white stuff). I’ve got five cars for “2.5 drivers” (daughter is away at college), and since I’m working from home most of the time it’s just sitting in front of the house.
I’ve made up a 3-page summary on the car, so if anyone wants to copy, just call, text, or email me directly. It’s got all the details, plus I can also share my service records. I want to see it go to a good home!
Regards,
Steve
