So today I disconnected my BMW Aux connection kit and installed a bluetooth adapter to allow bluetooth audio streaming capability to my M3 for under $20!

This is the kit I purchased.

Here it is as I was installing it today.

I tapped power and ground connections from the bluetooth module into the cigarette lighter wiring.
This was a fairly simple install and I took my time doing this. It took me about an hour to do but it can easily be done in half the time. Stereo switched in Aux mode and pairing to the connected bluetooth module was easy and I was streaming from my iPhone X into my M3 stereo wirelessly.
I now have bluetooth streaming in all my cars [emoji41]
By the way, this can be done with any BMW with an aux connection...

How’s the audio quality? Not being able to charge and listen to music at the same time is really aggravating and this seems like a good solution if it sounds okay.
Nice

Hieu, I know.... I know.... :)
I am working on this. Hopefully if things work out with what I'm planning then I may be catching up on my M3 for a change... I just need to source OEM CSL rails and I should be set... then you're free to say "about damned time"... lol
I'll also be looking to get a set of Recaro Sportster CS seats with carbon fiber backing to install into my M3...
