Coding Product Idea

Just got finished cloning an ms42 ECU for the first time and was thinking it would be nice to have some sort of fixture where I could just plug in the ecu, obd, and/or any other pertinent connection. this would be primarily be for outside of the car. could have a power supply built in, switches, some special feature to assist in entering bootstrap mode on the cpu.

don't know if it would be practical for any reason, but could also break out all the pins for easy access to external connections

does anyone actually code like that, out of the car, or do ecus usually just stay in the car?

anyway, I like making pcbs and things. If anyone thinks this is interesting, I wouldn't mind fixing up some files you could send to a fab hose to have made. no charge, just for fun.
